Distribution

Found in the western part of the Palaearctic Region, widespread in central European and Mediterranean countries. It is a common species, well represented in Spain and Portugal, with records from the District of Beja ( Cardoso 2004). Stable and abundant populations develop in the Castro Verde grasslands.
