Remarks. Lopes et al. (2015) redescribed E. vivax based on the holotype and specimens collected in the type locality. These authors determined that this species has lightly reticulated dorsal shield and sharp-tipped macrosetae of leg IV. The specimens examined in this study are similar to original description and redescription provided by Lopes et al. (2015), except for having s4 approximately 1.4 and 1.2 times shorter, respectively. Outside the American continent and the Caribbean islands, this species is only reported from Montenegro ( Mijuskovic & Tomasevic, 1975). Given the known distribution of this species, it seems that the report from Montenegro is a misidentification.
