According to Moraes & Denmark (1999), dorsal shield of female rugose, 290 (278–300) long and 167 (162–173) wide. Setal lengths: j1 49, j3 10 (8–11), j4 8 (7–8), j5 6 (5–7), j6 7 (5–8), J5 3, z2 15 (14–16), z4 14, z5 6 (5–8), Z1 9 (8–11), Z4 116 (113–119), Z5 133 (130–135), s4 126 (122–132), S5 9 (8–10), r3 34 (32–35) and R1 11; with a thorn-shaped protuberance between j6 and Z4. Peritreme extending to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 58 (59–59), st2–st2 68, st5–st5 76 (73–78). Male ventrianal shield 116 (108–122) long, 62 (59–65) wide at level of Zv2 and 69 (65–73) at anus level. Spermathecal calyx disc-shaped, 4 (3 –5) long; atrium elongate. Fixed cheliceral digit 27 long, with 6–7 teeth; movable digit 24 long, with three teeth. Macroseta only on basitarsus IV, thick and stout, StIV 32 (27–35) .

Distribution elsewhere. Not reported.

Remarks. Species described from Brazil and known only from the type specimens. Specimens not examined.
