Dorsal shield of female imbricate (as also mentioned in the original description and by Moraes et al., 1991). According to Abo-Shnaf et al. (2016), 332 (325–338) long and 193 (193–208) wide and setal lenghts: j1 23 (22–25), j3 26 (24–28), j4 15 (13–18), j5 15 (12–18), j6 17 (15–18), J2 21 (19–23), J5 11 (10–12), z2 16 (15–18), z4 18 (17–20), z5 17 (16–18), Z1 21 (19–23), Z4 44 (43–45), Z5 77 (75–78), s4 25 (22–28), S2 23 (20–25), S4 19 (18–20), S5 14 (13–15), r3 18 (16–20) and R1 15 (12–18). Peritreme extending to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 64 (60–70), st2–st2 65 (62–68), st5–st5 67 (66–68). Ventrianal shield 107 (100–110) long, 99 (93–103) wide at level of Zv2 and 92 (83–98) at anus level. Spermathecal calyx tubular, 29 (28–30) long; atrium nodular. Macrosetae on legs

III–IV, macrosetae of leg IV with knobbed tips; SgeIII 20 (19–20), StiIII 15, SgeIV 32 (31–33), StiIV 14 (13–15) and StIV 53 (51–55).

Distribution in Brazil. Amazonas ( Ferreira et al., 2018).

Distribution elsewhere. Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba. Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Puerto Rico and USA.

Remark. Specimens were not examined.
