Setal lengths: j1 23, j3 31, j4 5, j5 5, j6 6, J2 5, J5 10, z2 11, z4 13, z5 5, Z1 7, Z4 109, Z5 107, s4 91, S2 14, S4 10, S5 10, r3 9 and R1 11. Peritreme extending to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 48, st2–st2 45, st5–st5 119. Ventrianal shield 135 long, 210 wide at level of Zv2. Spermathecal calyx saccular, 20 long; atrium bifurcate at juncture with major duct. Fixed cheliceral digit 40 long, with 12 teeth; movable digit 35 long, with one tooth. Distinct macroseta only on basitarsus IV, sharp-tipped, 40 long .
Distribution in Brazil. Amazonas ( Cruz et al., 2015, 2019; Ferreira et al., 2018), Bahia ( Souza et al., 2015; Argolo et al., 2017) and São Paulo ( Moraes et al., 2013).
Distribution elsewhere. Antigua, Guadeloupe, Martinique and Peru.
Remarks. The measurements of the specimen examined are similar to those of the original description, except for dorsal shield width and length of Z4 and Z5, the shield about 1.3 times wider in the original description and the setae about 1.3–1.4 times longer in the Brazilian specimen. Intermediate measurements of width of dorsal shield and length of Z4 were reported by Kreiter & Moraes (1997) for specimens from Guadeloupe.
