Typhlodromips theobromae .— Souza et al., 2015: 117. According to Souza et al. (2010), dorsal shield of female mostly smooth, with scant anterolateral reticules, 301 (288–312) long and 211 (194–246) wide. Setal lengths: j1 19 (17–21), j3 23 (17–26), j4 8 (6–10), j5 8 (6–10), j6 10 (8–12), J2 10 (8–15), J5 7 (7–8), z2 10 (8–12), z4 18 (16–21), z5 7 (6–9), Z1 13 (8–17), Z4 45 (43–47), Z5 56 (46– 60), s4 23 (20–25), S2 15 (11–19), S4 10 (6–16), S5 9 (6–11), r3 11 (10–12) and R1 9 (7–10). Peritreme extending to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 58 (55–60), st2–st2 72 (68–74), st5–st5 65 (61–65). Ventrianal shield 88 (82–93) long, 91 (86–93) wide at level of Zv2 and 74 (70–79) at anus level. Spermathecal calyx short-tubular, 9 (7–10) long; atrium inconspicuous. Fixed cheliceral digit 30 long, with 15 teeth; movable digit 39 (38–40) long, with three teeth. Macrosetae on legs II–IV, blunt to sharp-tipped, except SgeIV, knobbed; SgeII 14 (12–16), SgeIII 15 (14–18), StiIII 14 (12–15), SgeIV 31 (27–35), StiIV 15 (12–18) and StIV 28 (25–30).

Distribution in Brazil. Bahia ( Argolo et al., 2017, Souza et al., 2010, 2015).

Distribution elsewhere. Not reported.

Remarks. Species described from Brazil. Specimens were not examined.
