Notes.

Schembri (1980) recorded this species from three females and a male collected in June and July of 1977 and 1978. It is a common circum-Mediterranean species also found in Northern European countries such as Czech Republic and Slovakia and its range also extends as far east as Central Asia. Individuals are highly variable in colour, some being dark while others possess abundant yellow maculations ( Gusenleitner 1995b).
