Daidalotarsonemus tambulae Mondal & Karmakar, 2023: 130 . Diagnosis. Female: Gnathosoma : Palpal length about 1/4 length of gnathosoma. Dorsum: Reticulate ornamentation medially present on prodorsum, tergites C, D and EF. Tergite C with transverse rows of well-defined cells grouped between setae c1 and c2, except on its centre. Setae v1, sc2, c2 and h unmodified in shape. Setae v1 slightly shorter than sc2 (~ 35 and ~ 40, respectively) both longer than h (~ 15). Setae c1, d, e and f leaf-shaped. Setae c1 clearly longer than c2 (~ 33 and ~ 24, respectively). Setae c1 inserted past midlength of tergite C. Posterior setae d, e and f identical in shape (lanceolate with one central vein) but different in length (~ 23, ~ 20 and ~ 26 respectively). Setae f ~11 distant from each other, on conical tubercles. Venter: Tegula rounded, arched posteriorly. All apodemes distinct. Apodemes 2 not fused to prosternal apodeme. Poststernal apodeme bifurcated anteriorly. Male and larva: unknown.

Type material deposition: holotype ♀ deposited at NZC.

Locality: North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, India ( Mondal & Karmakar 2023).
