Daidalotarsonemus maryae Rezende et al., 2015b: 481 ; Sousa et al., 2018: 70.

Diagnosis. Female: Gnathosoma : Palpal length about 1/4 length of gnathosoma. Dorsum: Ornamentation wrinkled on prodorsum. Tergite C with three transverse rows of well-defined cells, grouped between and anteriad setae c1, and different number of cells per row (nine, four and two, respectively). Tergite D with two reticulate columns between setae d. Setae v1, sc2, c1, c2 and h unmodified in shape. Setae v1 slightly shorter than sc2 (~ 15 and ~ 19). Setae c1 and c2 identical in length (~ 16). Setae c1 inserted near midlength of tergite C. Setae h slightly shorter than c1 and c2 (~ 13). Posterior setae d, e and f leaf-shaped. Setae d and f similar in shape (ensiform with two lateral veins), but different in length (~ 25 and 16, respectively) and width (~ 10 and ~ 7). Setae e unique in shape (elliptical with two lateral veins), width (~ 11), shorter than d and f, but longer than h (~ 15). Setae f ~13 distant from each other, on rounded tubercles. Venter: Tegula truncate. Apodemes distinct, except for prosternal apodeme from level of apodemes 2 to sejugal apodeme. Apodemes 2 not fused to prosternal apodeme Poststernal apodeme bifurcated anteriorly. Legs: sensory cluster of tibiotarsus I complete. Seta tc” of tarsus II distinctly serrate but not thick. Male & larva: unknown.

Type material deposition: holotype ♀ deposited at NMCR; one paratype ♀ at USNM .
