Rougemont 1987: 712 (subgenus Parastenus ; type locality: Thailand: Chiang Mai, Doi Suthep, 1400 m); Zheng 1993: 230.

Material Examined. China: Guangxi: 4 males, 7 females, Na­po De­fu Shui­yuan­lin (105.85°E, 23.43°N) protection station, 1400 m, 5 Apr. 1998, Hai­Sheng Zhou collected GoogleMaps .

Remarks. We dissected our specimens and compared the aedeagus with illustrations provided by Rougemont (1987: Fig. 5 View FIGURES 1–8 ). This is the first record of S. guenai from China.
