Distribution.
This species is distributed from Colima state, Mexico, southwards to Chiapas state, on the Pacific coast, and towards the southwest to Guatemala and Honduras.
Samples.
RCMX85 (male*), RCMX86 (female*) and RCMX92 (female*) from La Sepultura, Chiapas, Mexico.

Chromosomes.
The karyotype, described in Castiglia et al. (2013a) shows a diploid number of 2n = 28 and heteromorphic sex chromosomes. The diploid complement present four pairs of large metacentrics, two pairs of medium sized metacentrics, and one pair of heteromorphic (XY) sex chromosomes (pair 7; one small subtelocentric and one microchromosome). The remaining chromosomes are microchromosomes.
