Sitobion javanicum Noordam 2004 View in CoL = Sitobion graminis Takahashi 1950
Paratypes of S. javanicum in the BMNH collection, described from Themeda arguens (L.) Hack. in Java could not be distinguished from specimens of S. graminis , a species widely distributed on Gramineae in SouthEast Asia. S. javanicum was described as shiny brownish red, whereas S. graminis is typically waxdusted in life, but this condition may vary according to age and humidity.
