REMARKS: misspelling. Rondani (1862d: 202) used the name Pollenia flavipalpis for Pollenia fulvipalpis Macquart, 1835 in his key (p. 196) and index (p. 236). Bezzi & Stein (1907: 525, 527) and Schumann (1986: 49) considered Pollenia flavipalpis as a nomen dubium in Polleniinae . Rognes (1991b: 366) considered the name “ flavipalpis ” as an incorrect subsequent spelling of fulvipalpis Macquart, 1835 .
