CURRENT STATUS: junior synonym of Eliozeta helluo ( Fabricius, 1805) ( Herting & Dely-Draskovits 1993: 401) .

REMARKS: Rondani (1862d: 44) described both sexes of Clytiomyia sejuncta without specifying either the number or the length of the specimens. We found four syntypes in this study. This nominal species was described under the generic name Clytiomyia , which is an “unjustified emendation of Clytiomya Rondani, 1861 ” ( O’Hara et al. 2011: 62).
