ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION: 1861e: 116 (key), 117 (description).

TYPE LOCALITY: “ in collibus subapenninis agri parmensis [ Parmese sub-Apennine hills ( Italy)]” .

TYPE MATERIAL: 1 ♀, syntype (missing right hind-leg) ( MZUF: Box 16): Marsilia [sic!] Rnd. / collina Rnd. / 857.

CURRENT STATUS: junior synonym of Exorista (Tricoliga) nova (Rondani, 1859) ( Herting & Dely-Draskovits 1993: 124, O’Hara et al. 2020: 400).

REMARKS: Rondani (1861e: 117) described Marsillia collina from just the female sex, without specifying the exact number of specimens, but giving a single measurement of length: “ Semel foeminam legi [I collected the female once]”. Herting (1969: 190) reported a single female in the MZUF. We also found one female syntype in this study.
