ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION: 1869a: 23 (key), 27 (description).
TYPE LOCALITY: “ ad Niceam [Nice ( France)]” .
TYPE MATERIAL: 1 ♂, syntype ( MRSN): Herina Desv pusilla Rond., Nizza , ♂ .
CURRENT STATUS: doubtful species of Otitidae ( Soós 1984c: 59) .
REMARKS: Rondani (1869a: 27) described Herina pusilla without specifying the number , the sex or the length of the specimens, from material received from L. Bellardi. We also found one syntype in this study.
