TYPE LOCALITY: Mexico, Baja California, Socorro, 15 mi. (24 km) S. San Quintin .

DISTRIBUTION: Known only from the type locality.

COMMENT: Very similar to, and probably conspecific with, ornatus ; see Junge and Hoffmann, 1981:34.
