TYPE LOCALITY: U.S.A., South Carolina, Hume Plantation, swamps of Santee River (= Cat 1st, mouth of Santee River) .

DISTRIBUTION: S.E. U.S. A, (except S. Florida) west to C. Louisiana, N.W. Arkansas, S.W. and N.E. Missouri, S. and E. Illinois, and W. and S. Indiana.
