TYPE LOCALITY: China, Szechwan, Omisan, 9500 ft. (2896 m) .
DISTRIBUTION: Montane forests of S. Kansu and W. Shensi to Yunnan ( China); adjacent Burma and Nepal.
COMMENT: Includes gomphus, nepalensis, and wardii; formerly considered a subspecies of cylindricauda ; see Corbet, 1978:24.
