TYPE LOCALITY: Mozambique, Tette, 17° S .

DISTRIBUTION: Zaire; N. and S.E. Tanzania; South Africa; Mozambique; Zimbabwe; N. E. Namibia; Zambia; Uganda; perhaps Kenya and S. Somalia.

COMMENT: Includes annellata, beirae, canescens, deserti, langi , luimbalensis, and velutina; see Heim de Balsac and Meester, 1977, Part 1:17. Gureev, 1979:407-408, listed beirae and deserti as distinct species without comment.
