** Allographa atrocelatoides J. Kalb, Lücking & Kalb View in CoL sp. nov. Fig. 2B View FIGURE 2 .
Mycobank MB 827637
Similar to Allographa atrocelata (A. W. Archer 2001: 161) Lücking & Kalb , comb. nov.
Mycobank MB 827650. Basionym: Graphina atrocelata A. W. Archer, Mycotaxon View in CoL 77: 161 (2001) ≡ Graphis atrocelata (A. W. Archer) A. W. Archer View in CoL , Telopea 11 (1): 72 (2005). It differs in having marginata -morph lirellae ( rhizicola -morph in A. atrocelata ) and a smooth, off-white to beige thallus (verrucose and olive-green in A. atrocelata ).
Type:— THAILAND. Phuket province: Thalang district, in the area of Ton Sai reservoir project, on bark of unidentified tree in remnants of a lowland rainforest, 08°01’41’’ N, 98°21’46’’ E, 30 m, 21 April 2012, J GoogleMaps . Sutjaritturakan 4006 & U . Siebsri ( RAMK, holotype) .
Etymology:—The species epithet refers to the similarity with A. atrocelata .
Thallus corticolous, off-white to beige, continuous, smooth, slightly glossy or dull. Lirellae prominent, conspicuous, with a thick lateral thalline margin, straight, curved or sinuous, unbranched or irregularly branched, labia convergent, entire, disc not visible from above ( marginata -morph). Exciple laterally carbonized; hymenium clear; ascospores 1/ ascus, hyaline, densely muriform, 90–125 × 20–35 μm, 18–30 × 4–9-septate.
Chemistry: no lichen substances by TLC (anal. J. Sutjaritturakan).
Distribution and habitat:—The new species is only known from its type locality where it is growing on the bark of an unidentified tree in a lowland rainforest at 30 m.
Remarks:— Platygramme pudica (Montagne & Bosch, in Montagne 1856: 347) is habitually somewhat similar, but is easily distiguished in having an inspersed hymenium and larger, pale brown ascospores (160–200 × 30–40 μm).
Material from Thailand examined:—see type material .
