Records in Mexico: Quintana Roo, Veracruz and Campeche.

Biogeographic province: Yucatan Peninsula. Veracruzan.

Habitat: Leaf litter and soil of medium sub evergreen forest, lowland forest, mangrove and halophyte vegetation. Soil and litter of Astrocaryum mexicanum and Guarea glabra . Low flooded rainforest soil and litter. Decaying trunks of Bursera simaruba and Spondias mombin .
