Distribution: Neotropical.

Records in Mexico: Quintana Roo, Veracruz and Morelos.

Biogeographic province: Yucatan Peninsula. Veracruzan. Balsas Basin.

Habitat: Leaf litter and soil of medium sub evergreen forest, lowland forest, mangrove and halophyte vegetation. Decaying trunks of Bursera simaruba and Spondias mombin . Leaf litter and soil (technified, transitional and production without the use of machinery and species associated with Mangifera indica plantations), soil and leaf litter and agricultural soil (Technified sugar cane management system). Soil and litter of Astrocaryum mexicanum and Guarea glabra . Low flooded rainforest litter. Pitfall traps in medium rainforest. Soil and litter outside a cave. Soil and litter in a deciduous forest.
