Distribution: Neotropical.
Records in Mexico: Veracruz and Quintana Roo.
Biogeographic province: Veracruzan. Yucatan Peninsula.
Habitat: Leaf litter and soil of medium sub evergreen forest, lowland forest, mangrove and halophyte vegetation. Decaying trunks of Bursera simaruba and Spondias mombin .
