Annectacarus ca. mucronatus : Estrada-Venegas (2000).
Distribution: Neotropical and " Oriental West".
Records in Mexico: Veracruz and Quintana Roo.
Biogeographic province: Veracruzan. Yucatan Peninsula.
Habitat: Leaf litter and soil of medium sub evergreen forest, lowland forest, mangrove and halophyte vegetation. Decaying trunks of Bursera simaruba and Spondias mombin . Leaf litter under trees and bushes in a secondary semi-evergreen tropical forest.
