Distribution: Semicosmopolitan.
Records in Mexico: Quintana Roo, Mexico City, Guerrero, Oaxaca and Nuevo Leon.
Biogeographic province: Yucatan Peninsula. Transmexican Volcanic Belt. Sierra Madre Oriental. Sierra Madre del Sur. Pacific Lowlands.
Habitat: Leaf litter and soil of medium sub evergreen forest, lowland forest, mangrove and halophyte vegetation. Low flooded rainforest leaf litter. Mesophilic forest, litter near a cave, sifted cloud forest litter.
