Earlier recorded from Cyrenaica by Salfi (1925). This species can easily be identified by its pronotum with median carina elevated, crossed by posterior sulcus at posterior fourth, prosternal process with anterior margin truncated in the middle.
Material examined: Sebha Region: Samnu, 3 ɗ, 3Ψ, on vegetable, 10.vi.90. Localities: Cyrenaica: Marmarica; Fezzan: Samnu.
Distribution: Algeria, Libya.
