Adelocera monticola Candèze, 1897: 6 .

Lacon monticola : attributed to Fleutiaux (1926: 93) by Hayek (1973: 72) [although not explicitly mentioned in Fleutiaux (1926)].

Distribution. “Himalaya”, Pakistan ( Cate 2007, Platia 2015a).

Literature. Platia (2015a: 5): first record from Pakistan, figures of habitus and male and female genitalia.

Remarks. Since the lectotype of L. monticola deposited in the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle, Paris, France differ in several morphological aspects from the species identified as L. monticola and imaged by Platia (2015a), we hypothesize that the published records from Pakistan may belong to a still undescribed species similar to L. kabakovi Prosvirov, 2016 from Afghanistan ( Prosvirov 2016).
