Distribution. Afghanistan, India, Pakistan ( Cate 2007, Akhter et al. 2012 a, Naz et al. 2012, Platia 2015a, Platia & Pulvirenti 2021a).

Literature. Cate (2007: 107): catalogue; Akhter et al. (2012a: 50): catalogue, distributional record from Pakistan; Naz et al. (2012: 107): revision, figures of habitus and male and female genitalia; Platia (2015a: 13): distributional record from Pakistan, figures of female antenna and genitalia; Platia & Pulvirenti (2021a: 180): distributional remark [as Cryptalaus ].

Remarks. Although Platia & Pulvirenti (2021a) used combination Cryptalaus afghanicus for this species, their taxonomic act was done without any explanation, and therefore we prefer to retain original combination in the present study until a proper taxonomic work on this species is carried out.
