Distribution. Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, Tsushima Islands), Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea; USA (introduced).

Host plants. Fatsia japonica (Thunb.) Decne. et Planch. (Araliaceae) in Japan and USA ( Jensen 1957; Miyatake 1963 a), Fatsia polycarpa Hayata in Taiwan ( Yang 1984).
