Lectotype (designated here by Nordenstam): [icon] "Jacobaeae affinis planta tuberosa, capitis bonae spei" in Breyn, Exot. Pl. Cent.: 138, t. 66. 1678.

Current name: Othonna bulbosa L. View in CoL ( Asteraceae ).

Note: Levyns (in J. S. African Bot. 7: 143. 1941) interpreted the name through the Breyn reference, though without explicitly referring to it as the type.
