Original description. “External characters: length of female 4.2mm; head conical in front, median length of crown almost equal to width between eyes; ocelli present; crown and scutellum with a pair of yellow brown stripes in median position; scutellum blackish brown, posterior margin of forewing fuscous; fourth apical cell with a brownish black spot near base; general body colour pale; venation as in generic description [appendix extending around wing apex; first apical cell quadrilateral; second cell with base continuous with fourth apical cell; third apical cell stalked; cell R longer than cell M]. Male genitalia: male plate broad at base; narrowing towards apex; ventral pygofer process C-shaped, arising posteroventrally; style with a mild development of preapical loble, apical extension tapered at extreme apex, with a preapical lateral spur; aedeagus without dorsal apodeme, shaft flattened in lateral aspect, directed ventrad.”

“ Holotype male, Cox’s Bazar, East Pakistan, 22 VII 63, I.A. Khan, Bamboo, in Zoological Museum, University of Karachi, Pakistan; and one paratype of same data 23 XII 63 in U.S. National Museum, Washington.”

Material examined. Holotype 3, Bangladesh: Cox’s Bazar, 22.vii.1963, I.A. Khan, on Bamboo ( ZMUK).

Distribution. Bangladesh.

Remarks. Some parts of the type are missing and are redrawn from the original, i.e., fore and hindwings and pygofer. The paratype female could not be found either in University of Karachi or in its reported depository of the National Museum, Washington.
