Distribution in Iran. Alborz ( Hoberlandt 1997), Fars ( Hoberlandt 1955; Safavi 1959; Modarres Awal 1997b), Golestan, Mazandaran, Tehran (new materials, det. P. Moulet), Khorasan ( Nateq Golestan & Modarres Awal 2012), West Azarbaijan (Nateq Golestan 2004), Iran (no locality cited) ( Rider 2006; Péricart 2010), widely distributed in Iran ( Kiritshenko 1938).

General distribution. Caucasus, Central Asia, Afghanistan.

Host plants. On Alhagi sp. ( Fabaceae ), Pimpinella anisum ( Apiaceae ) ( Nateq Golestan & Modarres Awal 2012).
