Distribution in Iran. East Azarbaijan ( Putshkov 1965; Ribes & Pagola Carte 2013), Fars (Linnavuori 2012), Khorasan ( Modarres Awal 1996a, 1997b), Iran (no locality cited) ( Rider 2006).
New data. Belousova (2007): East Azarbaijan province, Oskou, material of Exp. Nat. Mus. Praha: 1♂, 2.X.1975 (Sad); Kermanshah province, Schahanabad, Chatiodjeh, 1800 m, 1♂, 30.VI.1970 (Mirzayan Coll.); Mazandaran province, C. Elburz, Gazanak, Haraz Chay, 1400 m, 1♂, 20–21.VII.1970, loc. no. 63.
General distribution. Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Iraq, Iran.
Host plants. Lives in mountainous grassy steppes and, in Iraq, on Olea sp. ( Oleaceae ) (Ribes & Pagola Carte 2013).
Comments. Generic placement revised by Belousova (2007).
