General distribution. Europe (except Great Britain, Scandinavia), North Africa, Near East, Central Asia.

( Apiaceae ), Cichorium sp. , Cirsium sp. (both Asteraceae ), Sinapis sp. ( Brassicaceae ) ( Nateq Golestan et al. 2011), Acroptilon repens , Taraxacum sp. ( Asteraceae ), Atriplex sp. ( Chenopodiaceae ), Berberis vulgaris ( Berberidaceae ), Hordeum vulgare ( Poaceae ), Marrubium sp. ( Lamiaceae ), Raphanus sp. ( Brassicaceae ) ( Nateq Golestan & Modarres Awal 2012), herbaceous plants such as Asteraceae and Apiaceae (Linnavuori 2012) and cereals ( Modarres Awal 1997b); caught on several Lamiaceae , Caprifoliaceae , Chenopodiaceae (Ribes & Pagola Carte 2013) .
