Distribution in Iran. Alborz (Ribes & Pagola Carte 2013), Isfahan ( Hoberlandt 1959 as A. herrichi var. sobrinus Horváth, 1897 ; Hoberlandt 1959; Ribes & Pagola Carte 2013), Qazvin ( Hoberlandt 1997), Tehran ( Hoberlandt 1955, Safavi 1959, Modarres Awal 1997b as A. (A.) montanus (Jakovlev, 1879)) . Northern Iran (no locality cited) ( Kiritshenko 1938; Putshkov 1965), Iran (no locality cited) ( Rider 2006).

General distribution. Caucasian Region and Central Asia: southern Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran, Syria, Turkey (Asian part).
