Distribution in Iran. Guilan, Mazandaran ( Linnavuori 2008), Iran (no locality cited) ( Göllner-Scheiding 2006a; Aukema et al. 2013).

General distribution. West Palearctic, extending to the Middle East and Central Asia.

Host plants. On Cupressus sp. ( Linnavuori 2008), Juniperus sp. (both Cupressaceae ) and decorative Cupressaceae ( Dusoulier & Lupoli 2006) .
