Distribution in Iran. Alborz, Tehran ( Hoberlandt 1997), Golestan ( Josifov 1971), Guilan ( Safavi 1993; Hoberlandt 1997; Modarres Awal 1997 b; Linnavuori 2008), Iran (no locality cited) ( Göllner-Scheiding 2006 a; Grozeva & Simov 2008).

General distribution. Azerbaijan (Talysh mounts) and Iran.

Host plants. On Betulaceae ( Dusoulier & Lupoli 2006) .

Comments. Populations from the Caucasus region ( Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Caucasian Russia) and Crimea are intermediate between this subspecies and the nominate one ( Göllner-Scheiding 2006 a).
