Distribution in Iran. Alborz, Mazandaran ( Hoberlandt 1997), Ardabil (Ghahari et al. 2010a), Golestan ( Wagner 1968; Hoberlandt 1997), Khorasan ( Wagner 1968; Ghahari et al. 2010a), Tehran ( Linnavuori 2008), West Azarbaijan ( Hoberlandt 1997; Nateq Golestan 2004; Nateq Golestan et al. 2004, 2010a, b, c, 2011), Iran (no locality cited) ( Rider 2006).
General distribution. Euro-Siberian and North Africa.
Host plants. On Sinapis sp. ( Nateq Golestan et al. 2010a), Alyssum murale (both Brassicaceae ) ( Nateq Golestan et al. 2011); mainly on Brassicaceae but also on several plants (more than 30 species) ( Derjanschi & Péricart 2005).
Comment. Eurydema oleracea is a very variable species for which a great number of varieties (without taxonomic value) have been described: annulatus Fallén, 1829, angularis Kolenati, 1846, zetterstaedtii Gorski, 1852, consimilis , paradoxa, triguttata , nigriopes, atavus Horváth, 1885, variventer Rey, 1887, uniforme Puton, 1889, petulans Horváth, 1898, magdalenae, interruptum, horvathi , immaculiscutum Royer, 1905, confluens, nicolasi, putoni , septemguttatum Royer, 1907, conjungens, quinqueguttatum, nigricans Gulde, 1914, aberrans Horváth, 1917, barbei, susannae, linnei Royer, 1924, imperfecta Stichel, 1925, temperei Royer, 1926, nevadensis Lindberg, 1932, ypsilon Cerutti, 1937: 168, royeri Stichel, 1938 , putoniana Stichel, 1961, simplex Fuente, 1972.
