Distribution in Iran. Ardabil ( Linnavuori 2008), Fars, Hormozgan, Kerman ( Hoberlandt 1997), Khorasan ( Hoberlandt 1997; Modarres Awal 2008), Tehran (Hoberlandt 1949, 1959, 1997; Brown 1966; Linnavuori 2008), Iran (no locality cited) ( Rider 2006).

New data. Isfahan province: 30 km N of Natanz, N 33 ° 48 ’ 51.1’’ – E 51 ° 40 ’ 53.7’’, 4001 ft asl, 7.v. 2013, J. Haxaire rec, P. Ducamps det et leg.

General distribution. Ponto-Mediterranean: Balkanic region, Turkey, Russia (European part), Ukraine, Caucasus, Central Asia.

Host plants. In Ukraine collected on Boraginaceae , Brassicaceae , Lamiaceae , Plantaginaceae , Poaceae , Zygophyllaceae ( Derjanschi & Péricart 2005) .
