Treatment

Distribution in Iran. Ardabil ( Modarres Awal 1996b, 1997b; Linnavuori 2008), Kerman ( Zeinoddini Memand et al. 2012, 2013), Khorasan ( Linnavuori 2008), West Azarbaijan (Linnavuori 2012), Iran (no locality cited) ( Derjanschi & Péricatrt 2005; Rider 2006).

General distribution. Sporadic in north regions of the Mediterranean basin ( Italy, Macedonia, Spain), Turkey, Near East, Central Asia extending to Afghanistan; according to Derjanschi & Péricart (2005) records from Europe need confirmation.

Host plants. On Hordeum sp. ( Poaceae ) ( Modarres Awal 1996b, 1997b), in pistachio garden ( Zeinoddini Memand et al. 2012), on Chenopodium alba , and Salsola kali (both Amaranthaceae ) ( Zeinoddini Memand et al. 2013).
