Cimex rubrofasciatus Fabricius, 1787: 293 (non De Geer, 1783); Cimex hybneri Gmelin, 1790: 2151 ; Cimex flavescens Fabricius, 1798: 534 ; Rhaphigaster flavolineatus Westwood, 1837: 31 ; Rhaphigaster virescens Amyot & Serville, 1843: 148 ; Nezara pellucida Ellenrieder, 1862: 157 .

Distribution in Iran. Sistan & Baluchestan ( Hoberlandt 1955; Safavi 1959; Modarres Awal 1997b as Piezodorus (Piezodorus) rubrofasciatus (Fabricius, 1787)) , Iran (no locality cited) ( Rider 2006).

General distribution. Sporadic in Asia: China, Iran, Taiwan, Yemen; tropical Africa and Asia.
