Distribution in Iran. Fars ( Hoberlandt 1997; Modarres Awal 1997b; Linnavuori 2012), Hormozgan ( Hoberlandt 1997; Linnavuori 2004), Kerman ( Seidenstücker 1958), Khorasan ( Linnavuori 2008), Sistan & Baluchestan ( Seidenstücker 1957; Hoberlandt 1997; Modarres Awal 1997b), Iran (no locality cited) ( Rider 2006; Ribes & Pagola Carte 2013).

General distribution. North Africa, Near East, Central Asia, Arabian Peninsiula, Ethiopia, Indian Peninsula. Host plant. On Tamarix sp. ( Tamaricaceae ) ( Linnavuori 2004, 2008, 2012).
