Mohrigia insolenta Rudzinski, 2006: 461 View in CoL –463.

Diagnosis. The species is unique in the genus by its unusual split gonostylus and setae on wing veins M and CuA on the dorsal side.

However, it resembles the type species M. hippai in having the extremely long and dense flagellate setae on the intercoxal lobe of the hypopygium. By contrast, M. hippai has an apically broadly rounded gonostylus without a lobe on the inner side; and wing veins are bare. Furthermore, M. insolenta has 2-segmented maxillary palps, while it is 3-segmented in M. hippai ( Rudzinski, 2006) .
