Chinattus tibialis View in CoL : Logunov, 1999: 147 (transferred from Habrocestoides View in CoL , considered as a senior synonym of Ha. geminus ); Yin et al., 2012: 1345, figs 728a–f (♂); Peng, 2020: 69, figs 30a–f (♂ ♀).

Habrocestoides geminus : Song et al., 1999: 512, figs 298A, B (♀, transferred from Heliophanus View in CoL ).

Type material of Chinattus tibialis . Holotype ♂, Vietnam, Cuc Phuong Province, Ninh Binh , tropical rain forest, ealcareous rocks, 7.VI.1966, R. Bielawski and B. Pisarski leg., not examined.

Type material of Heliophanus geminus . Holotype ♀ ( IZCAS-Ar9259 ) and paratypes 2♀ ( IZCAS-Ar9260 , Ar9261 ), China, Sichuan Province, Wulong County, 13.VI.1989, examined.

Diagnosis. Females of this species are similar to Chinattus furcatus (Xie, Peng & Kim, 1993) by the posterior small, triangular epigynal border, almost as long as the copulatory opening [see Suguro (2014: figs 25–27)]. However, this species can be distinguished by the straight copulatory duct [vs. S-shaped in C. furcatus , see Suguro (2014: fig. 26)] and the length of accessory gland almost as long as the width of copulatory duct [vs. accessory gland unobvious in C. furcatus , see Suguro (2014: fig. 26)]. For diagnosis of males, see Suguro (2014).

Redescription. See Song and Chai (1992, as Heliophanus geminus ) and Peng and Xie (1995, as Habrocestoides tibialis ). Photographs of the holotype of He. geminus is given in Figs 3A–B View FIGURE 3 , 4A–F View FIGURE 4 , 7A View FIGURE 7 .

Distribution. Vietnam, China (Fujian, Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan).
