Cheumatopsyche oktedit Oláh & Johanson , new species

Fig. 117–120

This species is similar to the widely distributed Australia C. modica (McLachlan) . However, the shape of segment X is different, and the harpagones are very slender in lateral and ventral view.

Male. Body and wings ochraceous with light pubescence. Maxillary palp segment I shortest, segment II longer, segments III and IV equally long, segment V as long as sum of segments I–IV. Head dorsum pale, almost yellow, with 7 warts of same pale colour. Proepisternum without swollen setal wart. Protarsal claws asymmetrical, laterally flanked by setal bundles. Two spurs present on each protibiae. Forewing length 6.8 mm, hind wing length 4.9 mm. Forewing crossveins m-cu and cu almost tangential. Hind wing fork I absent.

Male genitalia. Segment IX fused annularly; tergum very short ( Fig. 117), sternum 3 times longer than tergum; anterior margins of segment IX gently convex in lateral view ( Fig. 117), tergal parts less excised than sternal parts; apical lobe on posterolateral margins each broadly triangular, located above base of coxopodites; spine row on posterior margins of segment IX interrupted between apical lobes and apicolateral corners of tergum IX. Intersegmental step between segment IX and segment X very deep ( Fig. 117). Segment X short, nearly quadrangular in lateral and dorsal view ( Fig. 117, 118); trilobed in dorsal view. Transverse sutures crossing central part of segment X ( Fig. 117). Longitudinal sutures short. Setaless mesocaudal lobe very short, forming slightly convex margin. Apicoventral setal lobes slightly curving dorsad ( Fig. 117), with posterad orienting bases and rounded apices in dorsal view ( Fig. 118). Pair of lateral setose areas forming short, elevated warts, present beyond transverse sutures basally of apicoventral setal lobes. Coxopodites extending beyond apex of segment X, straight, each with slightly dilating apices. Harpagones very slender, needle-shaped ( Fig. 117, 119). Phallothecal dorsum straight ( Fig. 120), ventrum convex before apex; sclerotised endothecal process elongated with narrowing or constricted base; phallotremal sclerites small, quadrangular in lateral view.
