Cheumatopsyche rhodesiana ( Jacquemart, 1963) View in CoL , new synonym.
Type locality: Sierra Leone .
Distribution: Widely distributed in Africa from West Cape to Ethiopia, but may prove to belong to a complex of closely related species.
Remarks: The type locality of C. rhodesiana is South Africa ( Jacquemart 1963), and 5 paratypes were examined from Southern Africa: Natal, Cape Province, South Rhodesia (ISNB). Later Jacquemart (1966) listed C. rhodesiana also from Katanga, but from his drawings this specimen looks like a species of Macrostemum .
