9. Cheumatopsyche costalis View in CoL species group

The species in this group have a bilobed segment X with shortened apicoventral setal lobes ( Fig. 9) and resembles species in the C. dubitans species group, but are recognized by having shorter apicoventral setal lobes. The species are also close to those in the C. expeditionis species group, except segment X is bilobed, or has a slightly convex apical margin of the setaless mesocaudal lobe, but never trilobed. The pair of apicoventral setal lobes are shortened into minute processes or warts, and are usually straight in dorsal and lateral view. The dorsal interlobular gap is small, due to the reduced length of the apicoventral setal lobes, visible in dorsal view as a shallow and wide gap. The pair of wart-like lateral setose areas are located distally on segment X. The species group is distributed in South and Southeast Asia, including the Southeast Asian archipelago.
