Type material.

There is a single specimen (syntype) of Limnaea solidulus in ZMB (accession number 8192). Its shell height is equal to 14.1 mm.

Type locality.

Italy, Brescia (from the syntype label).

Current taxonomic allocation.

The syntype of Limnaea solidulus may be identified as a juvenile Radix (Peregriana) balthica = Lymnaea intermedia Lamarck, 1822 sensu Kruglov 2005.

Remark.

Villa and Villa (1871) published this species name without diagnosis or other information that would make it available under article 12 of the International Codex of Zoological Nomenclature.
