The type locality of P. delatus is a ‘ Pond 1 mi E Charlotte Amalie’ on St . Thomas ( Wooldridge 1971) . Two other species of Paracymus are reported as having broad distributions in the Antilles and could be present in the Virgin Islands ( Peck 2016) . We collected material from St . Thomas at Bolongo pond, in dense marginal vegetation.
